Classes winding down for the year.

30 Nov

Most life classes in the North of the County are closing up for December, which isn’t a great time to be standing around with no clothes on, it must be said. These are two from my last couple of classes, Lucky in pencil and Wilf in pencil with a coloured pencil ‘dry wash’ over the top. I meant to try the same with the picture of Lucky, but brought the wrong pencils again!
Next year the Workington Ad Ed class should start again, and the Papcastle and Braithwaite artist groups are continuing from around the end of January/start of February. There will also be classes in Carlisle, both private and Ad Ed. So if you want to try something new in the new year, either drawing or modelling (not as scary as it sounds, and we’ll all be grateful for new bodies to draw), now is the time to start thinking about it.

    Hi Gavin,

I hope you don’t mind my contacting you out of the blue like this, but I found a link for this blog on the life art forums, and was wondering if I could model for any of the classes you’ve mentioned? I have experience as a life model and I live in Stockton-on-tees. Please get in touch in touch if you’re interested. Thanks.

      Hi Clare,

it’s a long way to come for a two hour class, but I’m planning some longer workshops for weekends that might be worth travelling for you. I’ll let you know. Cheers.
